Decks

Over the summers, and especially this past summer, I have been refurbishing decks, garages, or anything among that nature to make extra cash on the side. This past summer, however, I had so many different jobs to do I actually quit the job I had to go pursue my own business as of refurbishing decks. I was making enough money to support myself as well as one of my friends who was helping me throughout the summer. I believe I do a really good job at this profession and rarely make mistakes along the way.
The pictures above are of a deck I refurbished this past summer and was one of best works of the summer. At the beginning, the deck was in really bad shape and needed a lot of work done to make it a good looking, functional deck. I ended up stripping the wood back down to its original wood polish   so i can pretty much start with a clean slate product. After that, I sanded the whole deck, from railings to floor to siding. That took me about two days worth of work. After every piece of wood was sanded and prepped, I started staining the railing with a brush and then moved to the outside of the deck. I rolled stained the flooring of the deck just like you would a wall in a house. This creates an evenly amount of stain to be distributed among the whole floor giving it the same look from one end to the other. After the stain sat for about a day and dried completely, I sprayed a layer of sealant on top of the stain to protect it from wearing out too soon and allowing it to last longer without fading. A lot of people don't do this when redoing their deck because you don't really have to, but I prefer it because it allows the product to have outstanding quality and with outstanding quality comes a happy customer.
This deck only took me about a week to finish and I really love the color and the final product I made. The customer was extremely happy and ended up inviting me to a cookout she had the following week to show to it off to her friends and family.
This is something that I really like to do and I have been able to succeed in doing so, however, people don't want their decks to be redone all year round so its a seasonal job.
I also refurbished a few garage floors over the summer as well but I don't have any pictures to promote and show that aspect of what I can do.

Guns...My POV

Guns

In today's society, guns and gun control is a very touchy subject among people in America and around the world. In my opinion, I believe people are just over reacting to what has happened here recently. American citizens have a right to own firearms by the statements of the second amendment. Yes, I know that within the second amendment it says that we have the right to bare arms for creating a militia for the take down of tyranny (in simple terms), but in today's society where is the tyranny? We cannot fight our government with simple weapons that we can by at Walmart or online.
I believe that firearms are not the problem at all. Guns don't shoot people. People shoot people. Somebody has to be in control of the weapon for something to happen. Without somebody in control of that weapon, the firearm just becomes a heavy paperweight. That is why people shoot weapons to know become knowledgeable about that weapon system so nothing can happen unexpectedly. The government is trying to take away our rights as to what we can do with our weapons. That restricts the millions of gun owners our there in America from they have a constitutional right to do. All this happened because of one person's idiotic and dumb move on society. That is ridiculous. The government wants to get rid of assault style weapons within the public, which I believe is absurd. What can happen with those style of firearms can be done with a pistol or a shotgun and create the same amount of damage to the public. Assault style weapons that are available to the public are NOT automatic like most people think they are. A person has to have a certain license to own and operate an automatic firearm within the U.S. Those are considered Class 3 license and are highly regulated.

These are videos that me and my friends made while shooting our guns.
This is a legal version of an automatic AR-15. It takes the recoil of the gun to pull the trigger again and again to make it automatic. You can buy the attachment at any gun shop and do not need a class 3 license to own one. VERY fun to use; just expensive for the amount of rounds that are used.
